Lush – Angels on Bare Skin Fresh Facial Cleanser

Ed’s note: This post was written by Contributing Editor, Kate Derrick

Brand/Product: Lush’s Angels on Bare Skin is a natural face cleanser with exfoliating properties.

Price: We were given this at the Lush Blogger Event last month. You can buy it for $16.95 (100g) online or at Lush stores.

Why We Love It: This product is vegan and is made from natural ingredients. If you check out Lush’s website they provide a list of ingredients used in each product. Click on the ingredient for a description.

What can I say? I am loving this product!

Angels on Bare skin is a face wash made from natural ingredients. It leaves your face feeling clean and fresh without being drying. The ingredients include crushed almonds which provide a gentle exfoliating effect leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth. Angels on Bare Skin also smells great, like essential oils.

It comes as a solid in a small pot. To use: break off a piece the size of a pea, put it in your palm, add a drop of water, and mix into a paste. If I was to look for a negative about this fabulous face wash all I could say is that having to add water and mix into a paste is slightly less convenient than using a liquid face wash. But hey, it’s really not that hard and definitely worth the effort.

Verdict (Yay or Nay):  Yay! I’m going to go so far as to say that this is my favourite face wash ever. It’s a big call I know, but I mean it. An all natural, gently exfoliating, face wash. Perfect.

Have you tried Angels on Bare Skin? We’d love to hear what you think.

Note: Here at My Fair Lipstick we like to say what we think. My review of Angels on Bare Skin is in no way influenced by the fact that it was sent to us for free by Lush.

      • I did try it, Emma! I loved, LOVED the smell; it’s not too abrasive to sensitive skin, doesn’t irritate mine. Also, a nice everyday exfoliator. But I really lacked the ‘clean feeling’ afterwards, plus hated pieces of almonds getting stuck in my hair, no matter how careful I was.
I wouldn’t recommend it, even though it doesn’t irritate. I tried Let The Good Times Roll and that is BRILLIANT.
