We’re coming into dangerous gloss-wearing weather. A wind might mean hair getting stuck to your mouth. But if you’re willing to risk it or if you’re rocking an up-do then boy, do I have the gloss for you.

Brand/Product: Face of Australia’s Massage Therapy Mineral Enriched Lip Shine in Torquay.

Price: Kate actually gave it to me for my birthday, but you can buy it for $10.95 at Priceline, Kmart, Big W or shop online.

Why we love it: It’s proudly Australian. In fact this gloss was even named after an Aussie city. FOA products are also always a bargain – which means more money for shoes. Or in my case, chocolate and good quality wine.

Torquay - the city not the gloss - obviously!

Torquay – the city not the gloss.

Colour: It’s a pretty pale, peachy pink – could I get any more Ps into that sentence? It’s got a touch of shimmer and really complements my skin tone. I also like to pop it over lipstick for an added boost.

Verdict (Yay or Nay): Anyone who has been reading my blog for a while will know this gets a YAY! It made it in to my Five Faves for February. Here’s why I love it so much:

  • It has a sweet summery smell without being overpowering.
  • The formula feels thick and dewy.
  • It’s smooth to apply.
  • Thanks to the infusion of antioxidant Vitamin E and moisturising Jojoba it doesn’t sting or dry out lips.
  • And it will last you a good couple of hours – impressive for gloss, no?
