Why We Love It: I’m super excited to have found a cruelty-free dry shampoo.

A dry shampoo is a must for me, otherwise I find myself washing my hair daily. No Drought does a great job. Just puff some of the powder in your hands then apply to your roots. No Drought absorbs the excess oil and also gives a bit of volume. Be sure to comb it through though so you don’t end up with patches of white in your hair. For me I use one good puff of No Drought like so:

Actually this was a little too much.

This amount seems to do the job without turning my hair grey, nanna style. If you do put a bit too much in your hair and end up looking a bit nanna, just grab a comb and brush it through until you reach the desired effect.

What I also love about No Drought is that it’s a powder. With spray on dry shampoos I often felt like I was breathing in a bunch of toxic chemicals. The powder seems much less toxic to the lungs.

No Drought has a great fresh citrus smell to it as well.

Verdict (Yay or Nay): A huge Yay! I really recommend giving No Drought a go if you are after a dry shampoo.  I’ve got a feeling No Drought is going to be one of my staples.

  1. Kate, I totally agree with you. This is one of my must-haves. I’m taking it with me to the outback this month too 🙂

It’s a tad more messy than the spray bottles, but it’s definitely the most sustainable and cost-effective dry shampoo I’ve come across – and I’ve tried A LOT. I use it about four times a week thanks to my fine, oily hair and it has lasted me months. YAY!
