Maniday: Natio – Raspberry

After a big day at the Easter Show, a hot cup of Roobios tea with a teaspoon of honey bought straight from the farmer.

Ed’s note: This post was written by Contributing Editor, Kate Derrick.

Brand: Natio

Colour: Raspberry from Natio’s Little Treasures range.

Cost: You can get the Little Treasure range for $5.95 for a 9ml bottle. Natio is sold at Myer, David Jones, Priceline, and many chemists. Or shop online.

Why we love it: It’s vegan, Australian owned, formaldehyde free, Toluene, and  DBP free.

So I was meeting Emma after work in the city and while I was waiting I thought I’d have a quick look around Priceline. A dangerous thing to do when really I had no money to spend.

I thought I’d try a few nail polishes (just for fun), and I came across Natio’s Raspberry. The dark pinky red grabbed me instantly, and well needless to say I just couldn’t leave the shop without it.

My staple nail polish colour seems to be pink, whether it’s bright pink or dark pink and, unlike Emma, I rarely wear red nail polish. I’m not sure why, I just haven’t gone there. What grabbed me about Raspberry was the fact I couldn’t decide if it was pink or red. I still can’t. And I love it.

With the clear crisp mornings and the leaves starting to fall from the trees it’s clear that autumn is here, and to me the colour of Raspberry screams autumn.

Raspberry only needs one coat (applied liberally) which I love. And there’s no streakiness about it.

The little 9ml bottles from Natio’s Little Treasure Range are a great size and make me feel guilt free about buying more colours than I need.

Verdict (Yay or Nay): Yay! I think Raspberry will be my nail polish colour of choice for autumn (and quite possibly winter too).
