Maniday: Natio – Fuchsia

It’s maniday. Every Monday we like to share what we’re wearing on our nails and why.

Emma Salkild's review of Natio's Fuschia Little Treasures nail polish on Maniday

Brand: Natio

Colour: Fuchsia from their Little Treasures range.

Cost: $5.95 from Myer, David Jones and various chemists. Or shop online.

Why we love it: It’s vegan, Australian owned and formaldehyde free.

Why: Whoa mama – it’s been two weeks since I last had varnish on my nails and I’ve missed it so so much. To make up for lost time I was after something bold. Also, it’s the last week of summer and I wanted to farewell my favourite season with something bright. Pink is one of my fave colours and ideal for celebrating summer.

Verdict (Yay or Nay): YAY! I love the 9ml bottles that are part of the Little Treasures range. This was a Christmas present from my mother-in-law. In fact she gave me six of them – awesome huh? These mini-sized bottles are perfect. I’ve never managed to use a whole colour of a regular polish within a year (its apparent shelf life) and it seems a waste to buy big bottles that don’t get used and turn gluggy. I can’t wait to try them all but with 23 colours to get through I’m sure it’s going to take me a while 😉

Unlike, some other Natio colours you can get away with one coat with Fuchsia but I opted for two so it really stood out.

I’ve pulled this out quite a lot since Chrissie and even used it when experimenting with Valentine’s Day nails. I’ll probably go back to it in autumn/winter for a pick-me-up and break from the greys/blacks and nudes that are in right now in the Northern Hemisphere.

What are you wearing? And will you wear “summer” colours in winter? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. Right now I have natural long nails, but since my nails like to break I added a gel layer to them that also gave me a shiny look. Afterwards I gave it some french tips.
Your nails are beautiful! Hope you will follow up 😉
